The 2026 Calgary Stampede is in full swing July 3–12 in Calgary, Alberta, bringing 30 of the world’s toughest tie-down ropers north of the border to chase a share of the $1,861,500 added money.
Calf ropers are split into three pools—Pool A (July 3–5), Pool B (July 6–8) and Pool C (July 9–11). The top three money earners from each pool move on to Championship Sunday, July 12, for a shot at the $50,000 first-place check.

Who Competes at the Calgary Stampede?
The Calgary Stampede will invite thirty (30) tie-down ropers: the Top Five (5) from the 2025 Canadian Professional Rodeo Association final standings (drop-down until filled); the Top Ten (10) from the 2025 PRCA World Standings (drop-down through 15th only); and the Top Fourteen (14) or Fifteen (15) from the 2026 PRCA Current Year Standings as of May 5, 2026, not already qualified (drop-down until filled).
