In just four years, Riley Webb has amassed $1 million in PRCA earnings, breaking through the milestone during Round 4 of the 2024 National Finals Rodeo with a 7.5-second run, earning him $33,687.
As of Dec. 10, 2024, Webb’s PRCA career earnings stand at $1,016,078. For the 2024 season, he’s earned $354,592.20 and leads the tie-down roping world standings.
In 2013, at 23 years and 22 days old, Tuf Cooper became the youngest cowboy in PRCA history to cross the $1 million earnings mark, a record previously held by Ty Murray, who reached the milestone in 1993 at 23 years and 9 months. Stetson Wright surpassed Cooper in 2021 when he hit the mark at 22 years and 46 days.
Now, Webb has rewritten the history books, besting two-event cowboy Stetson Wright during Round 4 of the 2024 NFR at just 21 years and 4 months, 4 days.
When Webb was only 19, he earned the title of 2022 Resistol Rookie of the Year in both tie-down roping and all-around. That same year, he qualified for his first NFR, ending the season in 10th place with $188,597. In 2023, Webb made even greater strides, setting the season earnings record with $452,852 and clinching his first PRCA World Championship in tie-down roping.
Webb entered the 2024 NFR ranked fourth in the world standings with $216,906.92 won on the season. After claiming victories in Rounds 1, 2, and 4, Webb has racked up $127,685 in NFR earnings, catapulting him over the $1 million mark.
Heading into Round 6 of the NFR, Webb leads the average with a time of 38.40 seconds on five head—4.7 seconds ahead of second-place Shad Mayfield.
