With gold buckles and NFR average titles on the line, the Top 15 tie-down ropers in the world are bringing out the most elite calf horses for the 2025 NFR Dec. 4-13.
The lineup of calf horses to watch inside the Thomas & Mack is stacked with some of tie-down roping’s elite talents, including multiple PRCA Tie-Down Horses of the Year.
- There are 11 years between the oldest and youngest horses in this year’s field. Kincade Henry’s Duals Crescent Boon (Mario) is the oldest at 19. Riley Pruitt’s Trouble At The Rodeo (Snowman) is the youngest at 8.
- Shad Mayfield’s Figure To Fly (Lollipop) is the only mare in the field this year.
- There are three former PRCA Tie-Down Horses of the Year in the mix: Marked Up Cat, Figure To Fly and Stylish Bugsy.
- Logan Bird’s Daddys Shiner Cat (Peso) will be ridden by three calf ropers this year: Joel Harris, Ty Harris and Kyle Lucas.
