Riley Webb tied at the top of the Gold Medal Round at the Days of ’47 Rodeo in Salt Lake City, Utah, with fellow NFR titan Haven Meged.

The 7.3-second tie was broken based on their Progressive Round times, where Webb was 6.9 seconds and Meged was 8.3.

What’s the Days of ’47 format?

The top 32 tie-down ropers on two calves from the slacks July 16, and July 17, grab a spot in the July 19-23 performances. Eight tie-down ropers will rope in the four performances, and the top two tie-down ropers in each respective performance will advance to the Finals.

What’s the payout at the Days of ’47?

Each of the four performances of the Progressive round will pay four places.

  • 1st: $2,000
  • 2nd: $1,500
  • 3rd: $1,000
  • 4th: $500 

The Finals will pay eight places.

  • 1st: $13,000
