Shane Hanchey has a world title and 14 NFR qualifications to his name, but becoming a professional tie-down roper wasn’t always the plan.

The Louisiana cowboy had a once-in-a-lifetime horse, Reata, who changed the course of his life, putting him on the path to the Thomas & Mack. But it hasn’t always been easy.
