Two rounds are in the books in Casper, Wyoming, and the Southwest Texas College and Central Arizona College calf ropers are making noise at the College National Finals Rodeo, where CalfRoping.com is keeping track of all the results and action.
Southwest Texas College’s Tyler Calhoun, the 2022 National High School Champion Tie-Down Roper, took the round one win with an 8.3-second run. His teammate and reigning National College Champion Header, Slade Wood, claimed the round two victory with an 8.2-second run.
In the average, Central Arizona College’s Cole Blades leads the pack with a 31.8 on three head, followed closely by teammate Garrett Jepson, who sits third with a 36.7 on three.
