The 2024 Cheyenne Frontier Days tie-down roping will feature the top 60 fastest tie-down ropers from the July 15 slack, dividing them evenly across the rodeo’s six performances.
The top 12 fastest tie-down ropers out of the slack’s Wildcard Round also advance to the July 20-25 performances.

The top four from each performance advance to two semifinals (July 26 and July 27) from each of the performances, with the top six from each semifinals advancing to the clean-slate finals July 28.
