That’s a wrap on the 2025 ProRodeo season.

The race to the NFR truly came down to the final rodeo in the calf roping. From Utah to California and Texas to South Dakota, the Sept. 22–28 run was loaded with action, but the bubble drama hinged on Haven Meged, Kyle Lucas, Shane Hanchey and Quade Hiatt—three made the cut, and Hiatt was left on the outside looking in.

The Cliff Notes

  • Haven Meged placed at Mona, Poway and San Bernardino to finish No. 13 in the world and secure his seventh NFR appearance.
  • Kyle Lucas is headed to his first NFR after cashing in at Poway, San Bernardino, Stephenville, Bakersfield and Pasadena during the final week of the season.
  • Shane Hanchey kept everyone guessing, but he’s Vegas-bound for his 16th consecutive NFR. He picked up $4,000 for sixth in Sioux Falls, then hustled to San Bernardino, where a no time left the No. 15 seat in question.
  • Quade Hiatt snagged a check in Poway, but he needed San Bernardino money to crack the Top 15. When his calf got up, his 2025 season ended at No. 16 in the world standings.
  • Kincade Henry cashed in big at Sioux Falls, taking the $32,000 win and moving from No. 6 to No. 3 in the world standings.
  • Tom Crouse also had a strong week in Sioux Falls, banking $16,934 to climb into the top 10 at No. 8, solidifying his first NFR qualification.
