The 2026 edition of the San Diego Rodeo is returning to the California Coast, hitting Petco Park Jan. 16-18.

Home to the San Diego Padres, Petco Park will see 12 of the top calf ropers in the world competing for the big payouts of the San Diego Rodeo.

  • Saturday, Jan. 14: 6:15 p.m. PST
  • Sunday, Jan. 18: 2:15 p.m. PST

What is the format for the San Diego Rodeo?

There will be three performances at the San Diego Rodeo. Rounds 1 and 2 will take place the first two performances (Jan. 16-17) with 12 calf ropers competing. The final performance, Jan. 18, will be the Finals, comprised of eight of the highest money earners from the first two rounds, followed immediately by the clean-slate Shoot Out round of four.

Where to watch the San Diego Rodeo?

The rodeo will be live on the San Diego Rodeo’s YouTube channel starting Jan. 16, at 6:15 p.m. PST.
