The 2025 National Finals Rodeo is set to offer a record-breaking payout of over $13.5 million, marking the fifth consecutive year of increased prize money for NFR payout.

Historically, the NFR payout remained at $10 million between 2015 and 2020, consisting of $8.8 million in competition earnings and $1.2 million in guaranteed prize money for qualifiers. The payout has steadily climbed in recent years, reaching $10,257,048 in 2021, $10,900,098 in 2022, $11,501,504 in 2023 and $12,376,504 in 2024. With the 2025 increase, competitors will enjoy the largest purse in NFR history.
