Rodeo Austin is back for another ProRodeo tournament March 15-29, 2025, and here’s what you’ve missed so far in the calf roping competition.
The format for Rodeo Austin is unique for a winter ProRodeo tournament-style event.
Rodeo Austin Calf Roping Format
Format: The top 56 athletes in each event compete in two go-rounds in back-to-back performances, March 15th – March 28th. The top 12 fastest aggregate times will come back to compete in the ProRodeo Finals on March 29th. The Rodeo Austin Champion will be determined by the fastest aggregate time on 3 runs.
