Round 4 of the 2024 NFR kicks off Sunday, Dec. 8 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

The tie-down ropers will run the medium pen of calves which weigh around 230. This is the same pen of calves from the first round.

“I look for a lot of the ropers to take more chances starting tonight,” Lanham Mangold said. “Suck has running at the barrier, reaching and a wrap and a hooey.”

Dylan Hancock: 46

Zack Jongbloed went 8.9 on this calf in the first round, placing sixth. had this calf in the first round. The calf ran straight and hard but Jongbloed had to get him up.

Kincade Henry: 54

Hunter Herrin was 8.0 to place third in the round on this calf. Calf ran to the left just a touch but was good on the ground.

John Douch: 43

Joel Harris was second in the round on this calf with a 7.7 in round one. Calf was great, ran hard and straight.

Marty Yates: 64

Shad Mayfield had this calf in round one, placing eighth with a 9.4. Calf was great.

Shane Hanchey: 50

Cole Clemons had this calf in round one but missed the start, resulting in a 9.6. Calf ran straight and hard.

Riley Webb: 72

Haven Meged had number 72 in round one, placing eighth with a 10.8. Great calf.

Ty Harris: 10

Tuf Cooper had this calf in round one, placing fourth with a 8.2. In practice, the calf pushed a little on the ground but was great when Tuf ran him in the performance.

Haven Meged: 52

Dylan Hancock drew this calf in round one. He was an 8.9 to place fifth in the round. Calf was great.

Shad Mayfield: 24

Kincade Henry was 9.1 to place seventh in the first round on this calf. During the first practice, this calf was a little wild on the ground. The calf strained a little on the ground with Kincade but otherwise was a good calf.

Quade Hiatt: 11

Shane Hanchey drew this calf in round one. He was a 10.3 to tie for 10th in the round. The calf ran hard for Shane, but after having to get the calf up, it strained on the ground.

Cole Clemons: 45

Quade Hiatt had this calf in round one and went 11.5 to place 13th in the round.

Joel Harris: 65

Marty Yates had this calf in round one. Yates broke out and the calf got up to be a 8.3. The calf was a touch slower than the rest but was good on the ground.

Hunter Herrin: 53

John Douch was a no time in round one on this calf. The calf was great, ran straight.

Tuf Cooper: 3

Ty Harris was a 10.3 in the first round on this calf. Calf was wild on the end of the rope.

Zack Jongbloed: 5

Riley Webb won the round with a 7.0 on this calf in round one. Calf was great.
