Round 7 of the 2024 NFR kicks off Wednesday, Dec. 11 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
The tie-down ropers will run the medium pen of calves which weigh around 230. This is the same pen of calves from the fourth round.
“The calves are separating a little bit, so you’ll see some guys have to do something special in order to win some money,” Lanham Mangold said. “There are 4 or 5 ropers that haven’t won much yet and I think we’ll see some really fast from a couple of them tonight.”

Shane Hanchey had this calf in round 4, and split third on him with a 8.2. Good average calf.

Cole Clemons was and 8.3 on this calf in round 4. Overall a good average calf.

Hunter Herrin was a no time on this calf in round 4. The calf ran left.

Tuf Cooper was a 9.7 on this calf in round 4. Hard running calf, good on the ground.

Joel Harris had this calf in round 4. Great calf.
Joel Harris: 64
This calf was an extra in round 4. He was a good average calf in round 1.
Hunter Herrin: 72
Riley Webb won round 4 on this calf. Probably one of the best calves in the medium pen.

Zack Jongbloed drew this calf in round 4, making an 8 second run. Calf ran hard, overall good calf.

This calf was an extra in rounds 1 and 4.
Dylan Hancock: 10
Ty Harris was an 8.7 on this calf in round 4. Calf ran hard, Ty had to get him up.
Kincade Henry: 43
John Douch had this calf in round 4. The calf ran straight and hard, but Douch struggled to get him up.

Kincade Henry had this calf in round 4 and was a 10.2 plus 10. The calf ran a touch left right out of the box, Kincade broke out and struggled to flank.

Dylan Hancock was an 8.9 on this calf in round 4 and tied for third in the round. Overall good calf.

Shad Mayfield was a 9.6 on this calf in round 4. Shad had to get the calf up, but he ran hard and straight. Overall good calf.

Quade Hiatt was a 9.4 on this calf in round 4. Calf was on the slower end and Quade got in front of the calf a little, but good calf.
