Round 9 of the 2024 NFR kicks off Friday Dec. 13 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
The tie-down ropers will run the small of calves which weight right at the 220 weight limit. This is the same pen of calves from the third and sixth rounds.
“Tonight is the little pen,” Lanham Mangold said. “You know, it’s hard to beat Riley Webb on any kind of calves but when they’re this good and prepared, it’s almost impossible. No matter what happens, he just keeps moving forward. The buckle is his to loose and I bet he won’t.”
