The 2025 RodeoHouston calf roping is full of elite horsepower including 2023 Horse of the Year owned by Shane Hanchey, “Bugsy”.
- There are only two mares on the playing field, Zack Jongbloed‘s “Kim” and Blane Cox‘s “Kit.”
- Four different horses competing in the finals go back to Dual Pep.
- 12.1 years is the average age of the calf horses (that we have registered names for), with Kincade Henry’s gelding, Duals Crescent Boon being the oldest in the field at 19. Riley Pruitt is riding the youngest horse in the field, Trouble At The Rodeo, who is 7.
