Open entries are open for the 2025 World Championship Junior Rodeo (WCJR) calf roping at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma, July 22-26, 2025.
DY Rodeo is offering the next generation of rodeo athletes a chance to compete for $210,000 in guaranteed added money at the WCJR event in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Youth athletes can bypass the WCJR qualifying rounds by nominating their competitive efforts to the Virtual Rodeo Qualifier (VRQ) for Segment DY25 and securing a spot in the top 12 on the DY Leaderboard. Those who haven’t nominated their efforts to the DY Leaderboard can still enter through the open entry route but must compete in the qualifying rounds at the WCJR event.
