The NFR tie-down horses have been selected by the Top 15 calf ropers—and they’ll give it their all at the 2023 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo taking place Friday, Dec. 8–16, 2023.

There are two horses of the year in the mix—Caleb Smidt’s Pocketful Of Light and Shane Hanchey’s Stylish Bugsy—as well as horses that pulled consistent checks all summer long, like Ty Harris’ Churchara Sal.

As the NFR kicks off, Calfroping.com is the source for champion coverage, behind-the-scenes interviews and special stories on the horses that make it all happen. Coverage supported by Rattler Rope.
