The 2025 NFR is winding down, but Round 8 brings the final look at the big pen of calves for this year’s top 15.
Shad Mayfield is the Trent Walls pick of the night, while Riley Webb has the same calf that fought the chute with Haven Meged in Round 2 and got up on Shad in Round 5. According to Walls, Kincade Henry and Joel Harris also have great shots tonight in Round 8.
This pen first ran in Round 2 and again in Round 5, and the calves weigh in the 265-pound range.

Haven Meged was 7.9 on this calf in Round 2 and he got up on Shad Mayfield in Round 5. Calf fought the chute pretty bad in Round 2, not as bad in Round 5.
