Whew—the first week of September packed a serious punch in the ProRodeo world standings race.

Riley Webb broke the regular season earnings record after his big win in Puyallup. Webb and Shad Mayfield have been trading that record back and forth since 2022. Mayfield first set it with $203,508 in 2022, topping Tuf Cooper’s 2017 record by more than $13,000. Webb then raised the bar in 2023 with $280,405 before Mayfield reclaimed it in 2024 with $287,721.

Now, Webb has pushed the number even higher—$287,796 in 2025 regular season earnings, with 22 days left to add more.

Missouri’s Tom Crouse took another big step toward his first NFR after banking $13,999 in Puyallup. That check jumped him from No. 16 to No. 12 in the world standings with $127,214 on the year. Crouse kicked off 2025 with a win at the Cinch Roping Fiesta in San Angelo and has stacked checks at Calgary, Fort Worth, Houston and Red Bluff, to name a few. His second-place finish in Puyallup also secured him a ticket to the Governor’s Cup in Sioux Falls, where $155,556 is up for grabs in the calf roping alone.

The reigning College National Champ and Resistol Rookie of the Year leader, Tyler Calhoun, punched his ticket to Sioux Falls as well. His third-place finish in Puyallup added $8,894 to his season total, putting him over the $100,000 mark and bumping him from No. 18 to No. 17 in the world with $107,044.

Another bubble athlete making noise is Cole Clemons. Over the past two weeks, he collected $16,821 at Filer, Ellensburg and Fort Madison to climb to No. 20 in the world. Though he’s still outside the Sioux Falls cutline, he’s closing the gap. Clemons was sitting outside the top 25 in the Playoff Series standings prior to the Puyallup cut date, but a sixth-place finish in Filer and a win in Ellensburg—both tour rodeos—launched him to No. 16 with 728.63 points. That leaves him just 138.75 points behind Cory Solomon, who holds the No. 8 spot. With Abilene, Albuquerque, Pendleton and Mandan tour rodeos still on deck, Sioux Falls remains within reach for Clemons.
