Spring has been a whirlwind between the ProRodeo race and fun one-offs like The American Rodeo and Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo, and it’s all up for conversation on The Tie-Down Breakdown.
In April, the world watched Shane Hanchey and Kincade Henry tie for the win in the 10-man round of The American with a 7.58-second run. The 2013 world champion took the title, however, after a 6.73 in the finals to give Hanchey his second American Rodeo title and $100,000.
Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo took Arlington, Texas, by storm for the second year in a row May 17, 2025. When the dust settled, team Jokers–led by legends Joe Beaver and Sid Steiner–took the overall team title with John Douch and Haven Meged to help.
